The IRS is out of control!
They targeted Americans based on their political views.
They re-hired people who were fired from the IRS for mishandling your private data.
They actually have slush funds worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
The IRS even keeps people on the payroll who haven’t paid their own taxes.
This week, the House passed legislation that will take away their slush funds, stop them from hiring tax cheats, and prevent the IRS from re-hiring people who were fired for abusing their positions.
- Legislation from Rep. Kristi Noem (R-SD) prohibits the IRS from re-hiring employees who were previously fired for misconduct and abusing their positions.
- Rep. Jason Smith (R-Mo.) has a bill that would end the IRS’s taxpayer slush fund and bring those funds under congressional oversight.
- Legislation by Rep. Patrick Meehan (R-Pa.) ends the practice of handing out bonuses to undeserving IRS employees.
- A bill by Rep. David Rouzer (R-NC) puts a stop to the employment of tax cheats at the IRS.
The House is working to rein in these abuses and restore control of the IRS back to the American people.
