“I’d like to congratulate President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence. Now it is time to work together to get our country moving again.
“What they’re going to find here in Congress is a united Leadership team that is ready to work with the White House to move our country forward.
“Over the last eight years we have seen slow growth, we have seen lost wages, and we have seen unemployment. So much of what we’ve seen is Washington trying to put its hands into every aspect of our lives. The good news is, that changes today.
“As our new President said in his inaugural address, today not only marks the transfer of power from one President to another, it marks the transfer of power from Washington back to the American people.
“Together, we are going to make America great again.”Â
