Washington D.C. – U.S. Representative Steve Scalise (R-La.) today was re-elected by his colleagues to serve as the Majority Whip of the United States House of Representatives for the 114th Congress. He released the following statement regarding his re-election:
“I am honored that my colleagues have placed their trust and confidence in me to serve as the Republican Majority Whip for the 114th Congress,” Rep. Scalise said. “It is my passion as Whip to collaborate with and listen to every member of the Republican Conference in order to continue bringing their voices and new ideas to the leadership table.
