Scalise: Democrats need to denounce violence

WASHINGTON, D.C.—House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) joined Fox News Channel’s Fox and Friends with Ed Henry and then joined Fox Business Network’s Mornings with Maria with Maria Bartiromo. He discussed the need to restore civil discourse amid the rise of violence on the left and attacks on conservatives for their political beliefs. Scalise also highlighted Republican efforts to pass Tax Cuts 2.0 to make the tax cuts on American families permanent and continue the economic growth the country is seeing thanks to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Finally, Scalise discussed Democrats’ disgraceful behavior during the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings on Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh.
